Delcam Australia, the local subsidiary of leading CADCAM developer, Delcam, celebrated its move to new offices in Melbourne with a grand opening attended by Delcam Chairman, Peter Miles, on 7th February.
“The move is the first stage in an increased investment in our sales and support operations in Australia,” commented Delcam Australia General Manager, Robert Simunic. “The next priority is to increase our staff so that we can provide an even better service for the 500 Delcam customers in the country.”
For nearly 25 years the sales and support of Delcam software was ably managed by local sales partner Camplex, with the decision to formally open an official Delcam subsidiary welcomed by the management of both Camplex and Delcam. The staff at Camplex became employees of Delcam Australia, so ensuring that any impact of the change for customers was minimal.
